S4004 is non handed you can change the handing before you install by removing the hinge pin (see picture).

Horizontal Hinge Adjustment Instructions:
Always Adjust your vertical hinge first, then adjust your horizontal hinge.
Using a Philips screw driver, adjust the panel side to side, by turning clockwise to increase margins, Turn counter clockwise to decrease the margins. Horizontal hinge has approximately 7 turns from its extremes. Automatic screwdrivers are NOT recommended. The speed of the gun may strip the heads of the screws are over adjusted.

Pro Tip: Remove weight from the hinges by lifting up on the door before you adjust. Never use power tools only use hand screw driver to adjust the door so you do not strip out the adjustment screws.

Adjustable Door Hinge - Set Hinge With Non-removable pin - Vertical Adjustment
Non Handed - these hinges are for Left Hand and Right Hand Doors, by removing the set screw and hinge pin and changing the handing before you install it on your door.
S4003 is a Set hinge- vertical adjustment only . Comes in multiple finishes. Pin is removable.

Vertical Hinge Adjustment Instructions:
Using a Phillips screwdriver, first adjust the panel up or down by turning the screw marked "V" on the set hinge. When turning the screw in the direction of the arrow (counter clockwise) the other leaf will be pushed in the direction of the arrow. Automatic screwdrivers are NOT recommended. The speed of the gun may strip the heads of the screws are over adjusted.
When the vertical adjustment is turned clockwise, the non-adjustable leaf will move in the direction of the arrow. The vertical adjustment has approximately 32 turns from its extremes.

These hinges are not handed! The pin is removable So you can reverse the handing for your door . (Scroll thru pictures above that show this) Pin can be tight - use a flat head screw driver and hammer to LIGHTLY tap out the pin from the bottom.

Test for Operation

Brass color no longer manufactured - only comes in stainless steel for both the gear box and the extensions.
Comes with: bottom extension with gear box attached and the top extension (choose your door height size).
The Hoppe #810 Roller style is the direct replacement for old FUHR Roller Multi point that was on Hurd doors – no modification is needed when changing to the Hoppe #810. The only difference is some of the FUHR multi point had an automatic fire to engage the multi point, the Hoppe does not. So with the Hoppe to engage the multi point you close the door then lift up on the door handle then throw the dead bolt to lock.
Hoppe Roller Style will also replace the Old FUHR Roller style.
Top Extension: Comes in Door Heights: Retro/6-8, 6-10, 7-2, 8-0.
This usually ships via UPS Ground.
